Solar News

Net Information

Oregon ARES District 1 hold a nightly net on 147.320 Mhz, 442.325 Mhz, and the 444.400 Mhz linked repeater system (owned and operated by Amateur Radio Relay Group, Inc) all the repeaters have a 100 hz pl tone.

The purpose of the net is to prepare and coordinate District 1 communications in the event of an actual emergency.

The net also teaches new hams how to check in to a net, and how to use a linked repeater system.

 

County ARES nets:

Clackamas – Sunday 7 PM local time on the linked repeaters 147.120 Mhz and the 444.225 Mhz  (pl tone 100 hz)
Multnomah – Wednesday 7 PM local time  on the 146.84 MHz repeater
Washington Co – Tuesdays at 7 PM local time (every Tuesday except 3rd Tuesday of the month) on the 146.90 Mhz repeater (127.3 hz pl tone)
Washington Co Training net
Tuesdays at 8pm local time (every Tuesday except 3rd Tuesday of the month) on the 146.90 Mhz repeater (127.3 hz pl tone)

 

Other Nets

Northwest Traffic and Training net: nightly at 6:05 PM on the WoRC repeater system

Oregon ARES/RACES Training net
first and third Tuesdays of each month from 1730 to 1830 Pacific Time on or about 3,964 KHz

Beaver State Net
Meets daily at 5:30 PM local time on or about 3,920 KHz

HEART NET (Hospital Emergency Amateur Radio Teams)
Thursdays 19:00 on the 145.230MHz repeater (no Tone)
